Ahmedabad: Schools to pay if students ride sans helmets

Students with valid driving licences and commuting on two-wheelers will be discouraged from entering school premises in Ahmedabad if they are not wearing helmets. Banners declaring, “no helmet, no entry” will be soon put up across all schools in the city as the education department steps up efforts to implement this new rule with immediate effect.
