Gujarat: Of 3,482 accidental deaths of farm labourers, less than half compensated

The state government in reply to various questions in the assembly admitted that of the 29.09 lakh farm labourers in the state, 3,482 had died accidental deaths in the five years preceding September 30, 2018, and compensation had been paid in less than half (1,620) of these cases
