Protests have erupted among trust members and ashram residents, against the central government’s directives, seeking acquisition of all trust land and property over the 32 acres of Gandhi Ashram in Sabarmati and its surrounding, to either the Gujarat government or the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC).
