Guj: Bank strike to hit Rs 15k cr of transactions

As bank employees are going on a one-day strike just ahead of the festive season on Tuesday, transactions worth Rs 15,000 crore are likely to get impacted in Gujarat. Most public-sector bank branches will remain shut as some 20,000 bank employees from across the state are expected to join the nationwide strike call by two associations – All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) and Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI).
