Cow dung ups happiness index in Anand village

After switching to biogas, Natwar Parmar, a farmer in Zakariyapura village near Anand, has saved Rs 4,000 on LPG cylinders in the past five months. Women in his sevenmember family have also got a huge relief from smokeemitting ‘chullahs.’ But this is not all. Parmar has earned Rs 3,000 extra by selling the slurry generated by the biogas plant.
