Guj records 1,068 Covid cases, dip in Ahmedabad

Gujarat in 24 hours ending 5 pm on Friday added 1,068 Covid cases, taking the tally to 53,631. The state also recorded deaths of 26 patients, taking the death toll to 2,238. As on Friday evening, Gujarat has 12,518 active cases, which are 23% of the total cases so far. The state health department on Friday claimed that they have ramped up the testing and currently 224 tests per million population is being conducted daily.
