Two-wheeler registrations dip 50% in Gujarat

Liquidity shortage and consequently, a weakened consumer confidence has impacted the demand for two-wheelers and four-wheelers in Gujarat. While two-wheeler demand declined by 50% in Gujarat with 41,209 vehicles registered in June this year against 82,259 vehicles registered in June 2019; car sales too dipped by 26% plunging from 16,863 cars to 12,432 during the same period, according to data by Federation of Automobile Dealers’ Association (FADA).
