A shockwave spread through the Gota area of the city after a 29-year-old woman killed her 52-year-old mother-in-law by smashing her head in with an iron rod on Tuesday evening. The woman is learnt to have attacked her mother-in-law in a fit of rage after a heated argument, raining blows on her head, face and pelvis.
