Ahmedabad’s daily tally records 4-fold jump

The ever-increasing tally of Covid-19 cases for Ahmedabad city and Gujarat climbed another peak on Friday. Ahmedabad (604) and Surat (609) cities crossed 600 daily cases for the first time and together accounted for 55% or more than half of the new cases in Gujarat. The state crossed the 2,000-mark registering 2,190 new cases.
