‘Raise quota for other states to 20% to save Gujarat engineering colleges’

Gujarat is staring at a grim scenario where 16 engineering colleges have shut shop in past two years alone. Around 90 colleges are staring at shutdown having 21-100 students only. Year 2019-20 admissions put engineering technical education on a ventilator as over half of the 63,846 degree engineering seats have remained vacant.
