Rs 5L collected for not wearing helmets in Ahd

On the first day of enforcing new traffic fines, the city police lodged about 992 cases of not wearing helmets and collected total fine of Rs 4,96,100. Similarly, 429 cases of not fastening seatbelts were lodged and Rs 2,14,500 was collected on spot in fines.
