In a relief to couples who are about to marry, the state government on Monday announced an increase in the cap on guests permitted at weddings. Against a maximum of 100 persons earlier, one can now have 200 persons at a wedding. According to state government officials, social distancing and wearing of masks will be mandatory at weddings henceforth.
