A 24-year-old woman from Shahibaug, who works at a bank, lodged a complaint at Sabarmati Riverfront (East) police station on Friday, alleging that her former lover, Yashwant Rana of Sughad in Gandhinagar, assaulted her on Riverfront Road, for not answering his calls. The woman alleged that Rana also threatened her with dire consequences if she does not maintain the relationship with him.
