Gujarat: Deaths 15 times higher in 8 cities

An analysis carried out by researchers at IIPH Gandhinagar (IIPH-G) pointed out that the eight municipal corporation areas – including Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Gandhinagar and Junagadh along with the other four cities – had deaths per million (10 lakh) population 15 times higher than the rest of Gujarat in the past fortnight (Nov 16-30).
