Rs 300cr unpaid bills, AMC may charge patients

The civic body has pressed the panic button. For the first time, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), in an SOS to the state government, has claimed it won’t be able to pay to private hospitals requisitioned for Covid treatment as it is stuck knee-deep in unpaid bills worth Rs 300 crore.
