Parag Desai, the executive director of Gujarat Tea Processors and Packers Limited, known for its Wagh Bakri brand of tea, has passed away at the age of 49. Desai suffered a severe head injury in a freak accident while on a morning walk near his residence. He was admitted to a private hospital and underwent surgery, but ultimately succumbed to multiple health complications.
